Deepanshi was first born to this poor couple and her birth was celebrated as the arrival of Goddess Lakshmi by her family.
She was born weak and frail, it was in her 3rd month when she got seriously ill and was admitted to Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital where the doctors suspected Cardiac problems and referred her to CHF.
At our centre, her cardiac disease was confirmed after echo and diagnosis as “Complete Atrioventricular Canal Defect” and requires “TOTAL REPAIR” which costs around 3.5-4 LACS.
The estimated cost is beyond the Family capacity as earlier his father used to do a good job, but due to the poor condition of his daughter he lost his job due to frequent visits to the hospital and now he is working as a daily wager and earn a monthly income of Rs. 9000/-
Deepanshi got registered under the Hridaan project, and the CHF team helped the family financially by raising funds for them.
We managed to get her treated with support from our donors and partial funding from our partner DSRF. Her parents were more than thankful for saving their child’s life. It was an emotional moment for her parents as well as for us.
