Vineet aged 6 years was born in Akalpur, Uttar Pradesh. When he was just 1.5 years old, it was found that he had a serious heart problem since birth. Vineet's father works as a seasonal daily wager in a village of U.P . His family was not in a position to bear the cost of his treatment. So, Dr. Jaydeep Tripathi from Madan Mohan Malviya Hospital, referred him to Child Heart Foundation. When he was diagnosed by Dr. Vikas Kohli, it was found out that he had Tetralogy of fallot (TOF) and his intervention included Bt Shunt. Seeing their financial condition he was registered to CHF’s Hridaan program and got his first surgery done on 11/07/2017. At that time, his parents were informed that Vineet would have to undergo another TOF Repair surgery after 5 Years. Despite all the efforts, his family was unable to arrange the required fund. Thus, the parents requested Child Heart Foundation to financially assist them for his treatment. With the financial help from the Rotary Club of Delhi, South, and Child Heart Foundation, he got operated successfully on 27/07/2021. Now, he is recovering and very soon will be able to play & run like others.
