When B/o Samprita was only two months old, her parents received the devastating news that their child had a congenital cardiac abnormality, a Double Outlet Right Ventricle (DORV). It was a rare and serious condition that required immediate medical attention, and her parents were at a loss about what to do. Not only did they have to grapple with the emotional turmoil of their child's diagnosis, but they also faced the daunting challenge of finding the necessary financial support to cover her medical care.
But amid their struggle, there was a glimmer of hope. Dr Pramod, the attending physician, quickly identified the baby's condition and began the process of obtaining a pediatric cardiac pacemaker. However, despite their best efforts, the family had difficulty finding the resources they needed until they learned about Child Heart Foundation (CHF).
CHF proved to be a godsend for the baby & her family. The foundation provided the pacemaker surgery free of cost and arranged for it to take place in Belgaum. Throughout the entire process, CHF kept in close contact with Dr Pramod, who served as the point of contact and closely monitored the baby's condition.
After the successful surgery, Dr Pramod examined the baby and gave the good news that she was doing well and ready to be discharged from the hospital. It was a moment of great joy and relief for her family, who had been living with the constant fear and anxiety of losing their child.
