The baby of Riti is just four months old. His father while visiting the center, informed that during the pregnancy, they got to know that the child has a hole in his heart. The parents met a couple of doctors who had confirmed that he has a serious heart condition. One of the doctors had advised them to look for a pediatrician online, after which they started doing their research.
During this process, they got to know about Dr. Vikas Kohli, and they immediately contacted him. After the echo, Dr. Kohli counseled the parents and explained the entire process in detail.
There has already been a delay in his surgery due to financial constraints. The family had to postpone the procedure as they have been trying to raise money for the treatment. Looking at their situation, CHF has registered them under the Hridaan Programme and would be providing them financial assistance. The child has been diagnosed with PDA and needs PDA Device Closure. The estimated cost is Rs. 2,00,000.
Right after their registration under CHF HRIDAAN®, the CHF team immediately started fundraising, and soon his surgery date was fixed.
Even though he was only 4 months old, he fought his PDA battle and came out victoriously. He is healing and growing into a healthy baby. His parents couldn't hold their tears of joy and "thanked everyone who was a part of their baby's journey and who came forward to donate for his surgery."
