A persistent cough, bluish lips, fingers, and toes, breathlessness, weakness, and a rapid heartbeat were all signs that something was amiss. Concerned for their beloved daughter, Deepanshi's family sought medical help at a government hospital, where an X-ray revealed the presence of a heart defect.
Recognizing the severity of Deepanshi's condition, the medical team at the government hospital swiftly arranged for her transfer to Lal Shastri Hospital in Delhi. It was at this critical juncture that the Child Heart Foundation (CHF) entered Deepanshi's life as a ray of hope.
Deepanshi and her family were referred to the Child Heart Foundation, where they received a free echocardiogram—a diagnostic test that revealed a hole in her heart, medically known as an Atrial Septal Defect (ASD).
