When Ashu first visited Child Heart Foundation, she was around seven to eight months pregnant. It was then that she discovered her child had a cardiac condition. She was scared and didn't know what to do at the time. A referral from Safdarjung Hospital brought her to dr. Vikas sir, who founded Child Heart Foundation. He examined Maanik and informed her of the condition (TGA) and that he would require surgery (ASO) for him to survive.
But she didn't have the necessary funds for the operation, nor did she have the courage to determine what to do and what not to do. She had given up hope and told Dr. Vikas sir, "she might not be able to give birth to this child since she didn't have the money needed to pay for the procedure," but Dr. Vikas sir gave her hope and confidence she needed. He assured her that she wouldn't have to worry about money since Child Heart Foundation would cover her child's operation and that everything would be OK.
She is now at the Child Heart Foundation with her kid. She thanked Child Heart Foundation from the bottom of her heart; she is especially grateful to people who donated money to help her with the operation because if she hadn't come here that day, she would not have been able to give birth to her baby. Her child is now well, and she is grateful to all of you for giving and assisting her so greatly. Thank you once again.
