Yuvraj 9-month-old child born in June 2016. Due to recurrent episodes of pneumonia and fast breathing his father took Yuvraj to a Child Specialist, who diagnosed Yuvraj with rare condition caused by a combination of four heart defects that are present at birth called Tatalogy of Fallot.
Due to his illness, low oxygen rich blood reached to the body which resulted into fast breathing and bluish discoloration of peripheries and lips. It was also a major reason behind a poor weight gain of this child. His father runs a small shop on rent in the slum area of Delhi. Doctor suggested two surgeries to overcome, from his life threatening disease to Yuvraj. The estimate was around INR 2,50,000. It was very tough to arrange such an amount for his family. Child Heart foundation raised funds for him and finally in month of August' 2017 he got his successful surgery done in Max hospital, New Delhi. Yuvraaj is 2 years now, and have gained weight and growing well.
