Khushboo is a 2 year old toddler, who suffered with severe sickness and fatigue. She was diagnosed with PDA( Patent Ductus Arteriosus), which means she has a hole in her heart. Khushboo was always an active and playful child. But her heart condition was not letting her celebrate her childhood. Most of the times she remained ill. She often suffered pneumonia and was underweight. She was suggested to have an immediate heart transplant estimated around INR 2,00,000.
Her father Shamlal works as a helper in a private office, earn Rs.6000 a month. For him it was impossible to arrange money for the surgery. Her mother was bedridden due to some critical health conditions. In all this, it was difficult for her family to gather the capital for her treatment. Child heart foundation raised the funds and her surgery was successfully done at Metro hospital, New Delhi, under the surveillance of Dr. Kohli. Khushboo now lives a healthy and happy life. She has gained weight and going to school.
